The National Dragon Boat Team (known as the Auroras) is competing at the 17th World Dragon Boat Racing Championships from 14th – 20th July 2025 in Brandenburg an de Havel, Berlin, Germany. The National team consists of 320+ strong athletes. The Team will be representing Australia in 16U, 18U, 24U, Premier, Senior A (40+), Senior B (50+), Senior C (60+) and Paradragons.
Day 7 – Last day of the World Dragon Boat Championships. Fantastic weather, fantastic racing to finish off the Championships. Many friendships have been forged between athletes and inspiring to witness the athletes from Ukraine compete. China won the 500m Premier open standard in 1:51.398 once again demonstrating their prowess as World Champions over 200m, 500m, 1000m and 2000m.

Day 7 – 500m mixed, open and women racing
Podium Results for the Australian team:
- Senior C (60+) mixed small boat – 3rd (bronze) – 2:26.609
- Senior C (60+) mixed standard boat – 3rd (bronze)
- Senior B (50+) women standard – 2nd (silver)
- 18U women small boat – 1st (gold)
- 18U women standard boat – 3rd (bronze)
- 16U open small boat – 3rd (bronze)
In total Australia has won 39 medals (5 gold, 13 silver and 21 bronze)
