Race Official Professional Development session 19 - Using Correct language and respect

The guest presenter for PD session#19 is Joe Murphy who is a coach and member of the Canberra Griffins Dragon Boat Club.
Joe is going to present on the correct language to use in conversations and how to have respectful conversations.
The session will be about self-reflection through a shared discussion. This session is one of engagement rather than sitting and listening for 40minutes.
Topics covered will be:
- Difference between sex and gender
- Examples of pronouns (not what they mean, just what you might hear)
- We are already using pronouns, we don't know it (your/my, for example)
- Why sharing pronouns is a sign of respect
