Volunteer Development Workshop Session #3

As part of AusDBF's ongoing commitment to supporting and strengthening volunteers across the community, AusDBF is hosting a series of online Volunteer Development Sessions to support clubs, volunteers, committee members, and leaders across the country.
These sessions are being designed to provide practical support, shared learning opportunities, and real-world tools to help reduce volunteer burden, strengthen club capability, and support the long-term sustainability of our sport.
These sessions will be facilitated by Clint Bertenshaw from The Centre of Volunteering, who is the Director: Sector Development and Capability Building.
The following session dates are as follows:
- Thursday 28 May (6pm AEST)
- Thursday 11 June (6pm AEST)
- Thursday 25 June (6pm AEST)
This session will cover:
- Role of the Volunteer Leader and Volunteer Management
- Effective Communications
- Conflict Management
- Support for Volunteer Leaders
The sessions will be open to:
- Club volunteers
- Committee members
- State representatives
- Emerging leaders within the sport
These sessions will be readily available for those who cannot attend the session on the AusDBF website after completion, but attendance is strongly encouraged to allow for questions and collaboration with other like-minded individuals.
