Congratulations on being invited to attend the Aurora National Team Selection Camp.

This camp is a key component of the athlete identification and selection process for the Australian Dragon Boat Federation's Aurora National Teams.

Athletes will participate in on-water and off-water assessments, receive coaching from national program staff, and be evaluated for potential selection into the Aurora program.

Camp Registration

All athletes wishing to attend the Selection Camp must complete their registration and payment through this event portal.

Registration includes:

• Selection camp participation
• Athlete assessment and evaluation
• Administration and program costs

Athlete Levy

Family Discounts

To support families with multiple athletes participating:

• 1st athlete – Full fee
• 2nd athlete – $30 discount off the applicable levy
• 3rd and subsequent athletes – $60 discount off the applicable levy
• Family Cap:
  • 2 Adults + 2 U18 Athletes = $450
  • 1 Adult + 3 U18 Athletes = $450

Where applicable, discounts or capped family levies will be adjusted by AUSDBF administration following registration.

Financial Hardship

The Aurora program is committed to ensuring financial circumstances do not prevent athlete participation.

Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to confidentially contact the National Coach, Deb Moran, or Performance Director, Kerrie Waworis, to discuss alternative arrangements.

Medical Information

All athletes must provide current and accurate medical information as part of their registration.

Athletes under the age of 18 must have their medical information completed and authorised by a parent or guardian.

• Allergies
• Medications
• Injury concerns
• Emergency contact details

are provided at the time of registration.

Consent and Acknowledgements

By registering for the Selection Camp, athletes (and parents/guardians where applicable) acknowledge and agree to:

• Participation in the Selection Camp and associated activities.
• Compliance with AUSDBF policies and procedures, including the National Integrity Framework.
• Compliance with the AusDBF Code of Conduct
• Provision of accurate medical and emergency contact information.
• Acceptance that selection into an Aurora National Team is not guaranteed and is subject to the AUSDBF selection process and criteria.
