AusDBF Athletes Committee – Expressions of Interest

AusDBF is seeking Expressions of Interest to fill at least two vacancies on the Athletes Committee (AC).

The AC provides an important link between the paddling community and the AusDBF Board, ensuring the experiences, interests and perspectives of a variety of participants are considered in the development, promotion and governance of dragon boat racing in Australia.

At its heart, the AC is about representing the voice of our paddlers and protecting the rights, interests and value of participation across our sport - from foundation and social paddling through to development and high performance.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for active dragon boat participants who are passionate about our sport, willing to contribute constructively and interested in helping shape its future.

A broad range of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives strengthens the AC. While all interested participants are encouraged to apply, we are particularly keen to attract EOIs from areas of the sport and geographic regions that are currently under-represented.
