Footwear: your toes must be covered.

Enclosed-toe shoes must be worn in the marshalling and boat-loading areas, and whenever your feet are in the water. This includes beach loading.

Footwear with enclosed toes and drainage openings is acceptable, such as plastic shoes with small holes in the sides and over the toes. Thongs, jandals and sandals are not permitted.

Where beach loading arrangements allow, there may be an opportunity to put shoes in a basket immediately before boarding. Keep them on while loading from the beach and whenever your feet are in the water.

The 1997 championships took place on 22–23 March at The Patawalonga Lake, Glenelg. If you competed or volunteered, AusDBF would love to hear from you. Email info@ausdbf.com.au.
